Cherry blossom blooming foreccast

It's not too late now to see cherry blossoms in Northern Japan. Usually, the cherry blossoms in the following places are to be seen from the mid April to the end of April/beginning of May. Please check the forecast of Japan Meteorological Agency from here.

Kakunodate in Akita Pref.: Known as 350-year-old samurai houses and about 400 cherry trees

Hirosaki in Aomori Pref.: About 2,000 cherry trees around the Hirosaki Castle

Goryokaku Park in Hakodate, Hokkaido: 1,600 cherry trees and Japan's first Western-style fort

2005 World Exposition in Aichi until September 25, 2005

EXPO 2005 opened March 25, 2005 in the suburbs of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Not to be missed are the Frozen Mammoth exhibition, Robots' performance, the world's largest Kaleidoscope, and Next-generation vehicles. Please click here for detailed information.

POKéPARK, Pokemon Theme Park until September 25, 2005

Pokemon The Park 2005 nicknamed "POKéPARK" opened March 18 near JR Nagoya Station. Twelve amusing attractions like Pikachu Forest, Pokemon Giant Ferris Wheel, Pokemon Merry-Go-Round, and stage events will undoubtedly attracts kid's attention. Please click here for detailed information.
